Suspect Arrested After Robbery and Assault at Chatsworth Chevron

The Murray County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery and assault that occurred in the early hours of Friday, January 31, at the Chevron Gas Station located at 3080 Hwy 52 Alt in Chatsworth.

Investigators identified 35-year-old Andrew Frances Loiseau as the suspect. He has been charged with Robbery, Battery, and Criminal Damage to Property. Additional charges may be pending as the investigation remains active. Authorities have not disclosed details about the victim of the assault.

After the robbery, deputies launched a search for Loiseau, who had fled the scene. The sheriff’s office posted on social media seeking the public’s help, stating that he was last seen in Dalton, GA. A few hours later, deputies located Loiseau and took him into custody without further incident.
