Albany Man Arrested for Sexual Battery Involving Juvenile
On November 11, 2024 officers responded to the 2000 block of Leonard Ave in reference to sexual battery involving a 13 year old female juvenile.
The juvenile advised officers that 22-year-old Gabriel Mccoy touched her inappropriately without her permission which was corroborated by another 13 year old male witness. After further investigation it was discovered that Mccoy asked the male juvenile to hook him up with one of his juvenile friends which he attempted to contact a 13 year old female via social media in attempt to develop a relationship. An interview was conducted with Mccoy. He was charged with Sexual Battery and taken to the Dougherty County Jail.
