Albany Police Seek Public’s Help Locating Three Wanted Women in Fraud and Theft Cases
Quashayla Sykeatha Jones, Tangela Denise Phillips and Nahriah Shaday Norid

The Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau is seeking assistance in locating three women wanted for various fraud-related crimes.

Quashayla Sykeatha Jones (25)

  • Wanted For: Printing, Executing, and Negotiating Checks
  • Last Known Address: 1100 block of S Van Buren St.
  • Incident Details: On November 16, 2024, Jones allegedly attempted to cash a fraudulent check at a local business using the name of a company where she is not employed.

Tangela Denise Phillips (48)

  • Wanted For: Theft by Deception
  • Last Known Address: 900 block of Don Cutler Sr. Dr.
  • Incident Details: On October 9, 2024, Phillips allegedly posed as a tax preparer for a business that was not hers to collect funds. After receiving the money, she ceased communication with the victim.

Nahriah Shaday Norid (21)

  • Wanted For: Printing, Executing, and Negotiating Checks
  • Last Known Address: 600 block of W Residence Ave.
  • Incident Details: On November 16, 2024, Norid reportedly attempted to cash a fraudulent check at a local business under the name of a company where she is not employed.
