85-Year-Old Man Thanks Cobb Firefighters Who Saved Him After Serious Crash

This Thanksgiving, 85-year-old Paul is thankful to be alive and had an opportunity to express his gratitude to Cobb County Fire & Emergency Services for saving his life after a serious car accident earlier this year.

In June, Paul was critically injured when a van crossed into oncoming traffic and struck his car, leaving him trapped inside. Fire crews worked quickly to rescue him from the wreckage. After spending months in the hospital and undergoing rehabilitation, Paul returned home.

Last Sunday, during his 85th birthday celebration, Paul had personally thanked the Cobb Fire team for their life-saving efforts.
