Three Men Stabbed in Atlanta, One in Critical Condition After Incident Near Edgewood Avenue

On September 22, 2024, at approximately 6:53 a.m., Atlanta Police officers were dispatched to Grady Memorial Hospital at 80 Jesse Hill Junior Drive SE regarding multiple stabbing victims. Upon arrival, they found a 28-year-old male with an apparent stab wound to his hand, a 30-year-old male with multiple stab wounds in critical condition, and a 33-year-old male with multiple stab wounds who was alert and conscious.

All three men had self-transported to the hospital, and medical personnel were attending to them on the scene. Preliminary investigations indicate the incident took place in the vicinity of 138 Edgewood Avenue NE. Investigators from the Aggravated Assault Unit are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the stabbings, and the investigation is ongoing.
