Woman Passenger Shot in Road Rage Incident in West Atlanta
On September 21, 2024, at approximately 11:06 p.m., Atlanta Police officers were dispatched to the Taco Bell parking lot at 3604 Bakers Ferry Road SW in West Atlanta following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a 41-year-old female with an apparent gunshot wound to her left hip. She was promptly transported to a hospital for treatment.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the woman was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a road rage incident when she was struck by gunfire from another vehicle. Investigators from the Aggravated Assault Unit are currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting, and the investigation remains ongoing.
