Man Stabbed During Argument Over Trash in Albany, Co-Worker Arrested

On July 28, 2024, at approximately 10:30 A.M., officers responded to a report of a stabbing at 1400 Brickline Ct. (Interstate National Lease). Upon arrival, they found Norejai Jefferson, 46, severely bleeding from his neck. Christopher Coleman, 43, was subsequently taken into custody.

The investigation revealed that Coleman stabbed Jefferson during an argument over trash. Both men are co-workers. Jefferson is currently in critical condition at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Coleman has been charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Knife During the Commission of a Crime. He was transported to the Dougherty County Jail.
