Double Shooting in Glenrose Heights Leaves One Dead, One Injured
On June 23, 2024, Atlanta Police Zone 3 officers rushed to 56 Baker Dr. SW in Glenrose Heights following reports of gunfire at approximately 3:33 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds, identified as an adult female and an adult male.
Tragically, the female victim was pronounced dead at the scene by medical responders. The male victim, though injured, was conscious and breathing and was swiftly transported to the hospital via ambulance.
The investigation into the incident is being led by the Homicide Unit as they work to uncover the circumstances surrounding the shooting. As of now, no further details have been disclosed.
