Stabbing Incident Near Valero Gas Station on Cheshire Bridge Rd.

On June 23, 2024, at around 11:17 a.m., Atlanta Police Zone 2 officers rushed to the Valero gas station at 2448 Cheshire Bridge Rd. NE following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found a 63-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to his leg. Despite his injuries, the victim was conscious and breathing. He was promptly transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance for medical treatment.

Initial findings from the police suggest that the victim had a brief interaction with an unidentified individual who subsequently attacked him. Investigators from the Aggravated Assault Unit were summoned to the scene to probe further into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As of now, the investigation remains ongoing. Officers continue to gather evidence and interview witnesses to ascertain more details about the assault.
