Man Found Dead After Suspected Dispute in Downtown Atlanta
On June 18, 2024, at approximately 6:18 a.m., Atlanta Police officers responded to a report of a person down at 125 Ted Turner Dr. SW in Downtown Atlanta. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive male lying at the base of a stairway. The man was not alert, conscious, or breathing and was pronounced deceased by Grady EMS.
The Homicide Unit was notified and arrived at the scene. A preliminary investigation, including a review of video footage, suggests that a physical dispute may have led to the man’s death. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
