Atlanta Police Seek Suspects in Edgewood Avenue Shooting That Injured 18-Year-Old

The Atlanta Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying individuals connected to an aggravated assault that occurred on July 27, 2025, around 11:25 p.m., near 466 Edgewood Avenue NE.

Investigators released images of two males wanted for questioning. One was wearing a yellow jumpsuit and was last seen fleeing in a white four-door Mercedes with a black top. The other wore a yellow hoodie, dark-colored pants, and a red backpack.

On July 28, 2025, at approximately 12:04 a.m., officers responded to Grady Memorial Hospital at 80 Jesse Hill Jr. Drive SW regarding a person shot. An 18-year-old male was found with a gunshot wound to his left foot. He was alert, conscious, and breathing. Police determined the shooting occurred near 466 Edgewood Avenue NE, and the victim had self-transported to the hospital.
