Man Shot During Robbery in Oakland City Area
On June 5, 2024, at approximately 2:11 AM, Atlanta police officers responded to a report of a person shot at 1135 Oakland Lane SW in the Oakland City area. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was alert, conscious, and breathing.
Grady EMS arrived at the scene and transported the victim to the hospital for treatment. Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was robbed of his vehicle and belongings by two male suspects dressed in all black. The victim reported that he did not know the suspects.
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
