Man Arrested for Theft of Four-Year-Old Girl’s Necklace in Marietta

The Cobb County Police Department Criminal Investigative Unit has concluded its investigation into a theft incident that took place at a business on 1977 S. Cobb Drive in Marietta, GA, on April 10, 2024, at approximately 3:05 pm.

During the incident, a four-year-old girl was present at South Cobb Laundry when a suspect approached her and removed a necklace she was wearing. The suspect then left the premises on foot. The parents of the girl promptly reported the theft to the Cobb County Police Department.

Following thorough investigative work by officers and detectives, the suspect has been identified as 40-year-old Jose Daniel Noyola of Marietta. On May 10th, Noyola was apprehended and charged with Robbery by Intimidation and Cruelty to Children in the First Degree.
