Macon Man Arrested by US Marshals for April Murder

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators have served an arrest warrant on a Macon man linked to the death of 29-year-old Rashad Shaquille Reddick.

The incident occurred on April 19, 2024, in the 3500 block of Fair Street. Deputies responded to reports of shots fired and found Reddick suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased on the scene.

On May 16, 2024, the U.S Marshals Fugitive Task Force located 28-year-old Kahlid Harper at a home in the 5100 block of Nesbit Drive in Macon.

Sheriff’s Office investigators connected Harper to the shooting death of Rashad Reddick. Harper was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, where he is being held without bond.
