Gwinnett County Police Arrest Man in Stolen Vehicle
Gwinnett County Police Department apprehended a man with multiple outstanding warrants after discovering him in a stolen vehicle shortly after it was reported missing.
On April 30, officers from the North Precinct located the stolen vehicle mere hours after its theft was reported in Jackson County. The vehicle was found in the vicinity of Pass Court in Sugar Hill. Inside the stolen vehicle was Timothy Kevin Burke, a 46-year-old resident of Sugar Hill.
Burke was promptly identified and found to have two outstanding warrants from jurisdictions outside Gwinnett County. The stolen vehicle was returned to its rightful owner, and Burke was taken into custody. He faces charges of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, in addition to being booked into the Gwinnett County Jail without further incident.
