Albany Woman Arrested in Stolen Mail Cash-Out Case
Albany Police Department officers apprehended 22-year-old Bryannha West on May 9, 2024, following her involvement in cashing stolen money orders.
The encounter occurred after authorities discovered West in possession of additional stolen money orders taken from United States Postal Service blue mailboxes.
West claimed she received the items from a male friend and cashed them on his behalf. She has been charged with Forgery 4th Degree and Theft by Possession of Stolen Mail, facing a separate felony charge for each piece of mail seized.
