Man Wanted for Shooting Store Clerk in Atlanta Arrested by US Marshals

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force (SERFTF), in collaboration with the Atlanta Police Department, successfully apprehended a wanted individual on February 6, 2024. Kenardo Dudley, who was sought by the Atlanta Police Department for the murder of a store clerk, has been taken into custody.

Dudley faced multiple charges including murder, aggravated assault with a firearm, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm. These charges stem from an incident where Dudley fatally shot a 19-year-old store clerk during an armed robbery on January 13, 2024, at the 3900 block of Campbellton Road in Atlanta, GA.

Following thorough investigative work, SERFTF investigators pinpointed Dudley’s location to an apartment situated on the 5100 block of E. Pone DeLeon Avenue in Stone Mountain, GA. Subsequently, Dudley was located and apprehended inside the apartment without incident.
