Person of Interest in Reflextions Lounge Murder Case Apprehended
A person of interest in the Albany murder case has been apprehended. The Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigative Bureau had sought public assistance in locating 22-year-old Jacory Laquan Jordan, who was of interest in the homicide of 21-year-old Davion Wakefield. Wakefield was killed by multiple gunshot wounds at the Reflextions Lounge on Thornton Drive. Police have indicated that the shooting was gang-related.
Jordan was located and arrested on July 17, 2024, without further incident. He faces a charge of Tampering with Evidence and is currently held at the Dougherty County Jail. The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be filed as it progresses.
