Two Arrested in Albany Shooting That Left One Dead, Four Injured

ALBANY, Ga. — Two suspects have been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting that left one person dead and four others injured, according to the Albany Police Department.

The shooting occurred April 28 at the corner of Holloway Avenue and South Cleveland Street. Authorities identified the victim who died as Kiabria Young.

Investigators said they identified a suspect vehicle registered to Braylen Robinson and determined that Robinson and Jyquaze Reese were co-conspirators in the incident.

18-year-old Jyquaze Gregory Reese was arrested on Monday, May 4th, and charged with murder, four counts of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

20-year-old Braylen Ty’Shaun Robinson was initially arrested April 29th on a separate incident. On May 4th, additional charges were filed against him, including party to the crime of murder, four counts of party to the crime of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Police said the investigation remains active, and additional suspects may be involved.
