Third Suspect Arrested in Connection With Macon Homicide Investigation
MACON, Ga. — Investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a third suspect in connection with a homicide investigation tied to a death on Florence Avenue.

Just before 11 a.m., members of the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force took 29 year old Otis Wesley Hill of Macon into custody at a residence in the 1900 block of Clinton Road. Authorities said Hill was wanted in connection with the death of Shavis Adams, which occurred on Feb. 21, 2026.
Hill was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division for questioning before being booked into the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. He has been charged with murder and is being held without bond.
The arrest marks the third made in the case.
Earlier on Feb. 27 at about 1:27 p.m., the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office H.E.A.T. Unit, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, arrested 29 year old Malik Mikeal Jenkins of Macon. Investigators said Jenkins was taken into custody after deputies spotted him driving a U Haul near the intersection of Pio Nono Avenue and Ell Street and conducted a traffic stop.
Also on Feb. 27 at about 9:11 a.m., the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, assisted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, arrested 31 year old Jeremi Devontrey Hill at a residence in Americus, Georgia.
All three suspects are accused in connection with the death of Adams.
