Multi-Agency Operation Leads to Six Arrests in White County Drug Bust
On March 12, 2024, a joint effort between multiple law enforcement agencies culminated in the apprehension of six individuals at 979 Hulsey Rd in Cleveland, Georgia. The collaborative investigation, led by the White County Sheriff’s Office, Dawson County Sheriff’s Office, Cleveland Police Department, and the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, resulted in the execution of a search warrant at the aforementioned residence.
During the operation, authorities seized approximately 25 grams of methamphetamine. The individuals arrested and their respective charges are as follows:
- Donald Cory Wheeler, 38, of Cleveland, charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute
- Rebecca Allyn Frankum, 32, of Cleveland, charged with Possession of Methamphetamine
- Anthony Stephen Thompson, 53, of Clermont, arrested for Failure to Appear
- Jordan Lee Teague, 31, of Gainesville, arrested for Violation of Probation
- Megaan Lynne Myers, 33, of Dawsonville, arrested for Violation of Probation
- Marah Grace Gilreath, 27, of Cleveland, arrested for Failure to Appear
The investigation into drug-related activities in the area is ongoing.
