2-Year-Old Hospitalized After Christmas Morning Shooting in Walker County

Rock Springs, GA – On December 25, 2025, a 2-year-old child in Rock Springs, Walker County, Georgia, was hospitalized after sustaining a gunshot wound. Walker County deputies responded to a 911 call in the 300 block of Tarvin Road at approximately 9:50 a.m.

Emergency personnel quickly transported the child to a local hospital, where officials report the child is expected to survive. The Walker County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, which is now helping with the ongoing investigation.
