Coffee County Detective Fired, Arrested Following Domestic Incident Investigation

Coffee County, GA – The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office announced the termination of one of its detectives following domestic incidents reported to the agency. Upon learning of the allegations, the detective was immediately suspended while Sheriff Cole requested an independent investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and conducted an internal policy review. The detective was identified as Shantokeo Rolax.

After the review, he was terminated for violating agency policies. Following the GBI’s investigation, Rolax was arrested on multiple charges related to the incidents. The GBI will release additional details as the investigation continues.
