Bibb County Deputies Arrest Suspect After Foot Chase Through Neighborhood

Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies John Kile and Jonathan Hubbard arrested a wanted aggravated assault-family violence suspect Monday after a brief foot pursuit off Riggins Mill Road.

Deputies responded to the area following a domestic disturbance call. When they arrived, the suspect fled on foot, jumping several fences and running through multiple yards before being caught behind a nearby home.

The suspect was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center. He faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault-family violence, simple battery-family violence, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, theft by taking, obstructing or hindering persons from making an emergency call, and criminal trespass.
