Acworth Police Arrest Couple in Child Sexual Assault and Exploitation Case

ACWORTH, GA – The Acworth Police Department has arrested a man and a woman in connection with a sexual assault case involving a juvenile. The arrests are the result of an investigation that began on June 22, 2025, after the department was notified of a possible sexual assault.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division conducted interviews and gathered evidence, leading them to obtain arrest warrants for two individuals.

Brent Trujillo, 31, of Dallas, Georgia, was charged with:

Three counts of Child Molestation (Felony)
Three counts of Sexual Battery (Felony)

Jordan Wright, 30, of Acworth, Georgia, was charged with:

Obstruction (Misdemeanor)
Cruelty to Children (Felony)
Three counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children (Felony)

Both Trujillo and Wright are currently being held without bond at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. The investigation remains active. Anyone with information related to the case is asked to contact Detective Hardy at 678-695-7600.
