Two Arrested, Charged with Murder in 2023 Remerton Bar Shooting
Victim: Brianna Long

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has charged Tsion Clayton, 23, and Kimone Green, 21, both of Lowndes County, with Malice Murder in connection to the death of Brianna Long on October 29, 2023. At the time of her murder, Brianna was a student at  Valdosta State University (VSU).

The Remerton Police Department requested GBI assistance on October 29, 2023, at approximately 2:40 a.m., following a shooting at The Pier Bar. Brianna Long was killed, and another employee was injured.

The Valdosta Police Department Crime Scene Unit processed the scene.

After an ongoing investigation, the GBI and Remerton Police Department identified and charged Clayton and Green.

Investigators believe the men were in Remerton on the night of the shooting looking for another individual related to an ongoing gang dispute.
