Apartment Fire in Peachtree Corners Displaces 11 Adults

Firefighters responded to a reported apartment fire at the Rosemont Peachtree Corners Apartments, located at 3769 Elmside Village Lane, at 9:36 p.m. on Sunday. The 911 caller reported that their apartment was on fire and filling with smoke, stating they were unable to locate the fire alarm pull station. The fire reportedly started on the stove.
Upon arrival, fire crews found an active fire spreading through the multi-family, two/three split apartment building, with flames affecting all three floors. Firefighters deployed four hose lines and an aerial truck to contain the fire. Searches confirmed that all residents had evacuated.
Two apartment units sustained moderate fire damage, while one unit suffered heavy fire damage. The fire also extended into the attic, and seven adjacent units were impacted by heavy smoke and water damage.
