Three Men Shot at The Preserve at Forest Hill Apartments in Macon

MACON, Ga. – Three men were hospitalized after a shooting Monday at The Preserve at Forest Hill apartments in Macon, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting was reported just before noon at the apartment complex at 461 Forest Hill Road. Deputies were dispatched after the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center received a report that multiple people had been shot.
When deputies arrived, they found three men, ages 22, 23 and 25, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Paramedics treated the victims at the scene before transporting them to a local hospital. All three were listed in stable condition, according to medical staff.
Authorities have not released the victims’ names or provided information about what led to the shooting. No arrests or suspect information were immediately announced.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is investigating.
The sheriff’s office said Monday’s shooting is unrelated to a separate aggravated assault investigated on Sept. 12.
