Hispanic Male Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Forest Park; Investigation Underway

On Sunday, December 15, 2024, at approximately 5:55 p.m., the Forest Park Police Department responded to a call regarding a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at the intersection of First Road and Old Dixie Highway.

Upon arrival, officers found an unconscious Hispanic male lying in the roadway who was not breathing. Officers immediately rendered aid until Forest Park Fire and Emergency Services arrived on the scene. Despite their efforts, the man succumbed to his injuries.
