Man Arrested for Two Stabbings in Albany, Including Assault on Female Victim
On October 14, 2024, Albany Police officers responded to a stabbing in the 700 block of Don Cutler Sr Dr.
The suspect, 34-year-old Antonio Seay, and a female victim were in a vehicle when an altercation led to Seay stabbing her. The victim was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, where she remains in critical condition. Seay returned to the scene and was arrested by officers.
Seay was also involved in a previous stabbing on October 12, 2024, in the 100 block of Richard Ave, where he stabbed a 34-year-old male multiple times. The victim’s brother shot at Seay to stop the attack, causing him to flee, leaving behind a 4-year-old child. The male victim was hospitalized, and the child was placed with relatives.
Seay faces multiple charges, including Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Battery, Cruelty to a Child, and weapons charges. He had been released from prison in September 2024 and failed to report to probation, resulting in an active warrant for probation violation. Seay is currently being held in Dougherty County Jail.
