Shooting in Savannah Leaves One Man Injured; Investigation Underway

The Savannah Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on October 9th, 2024, in the 2000 block of Toussaint Avenue, resulting in one adult male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

At approximately 1:50 AM, officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, they found the victim with an injury to his ankle. He was given immediate medical assistance and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center for further treatment.
