20-Year-Old Wounded in Shooting at Macon Jiffy Lube

MACON, Ga. – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left a 20-year-old man wounded at a Jiffy Lube on Pio Nono Avenue.

The aggravated assault was reported to the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center shortly before 5 p.m. at the business in the 3700 block of Pio Nono Avenue.

When deputies arrived, they found no victims at the scene.

A short time later, a 20-year-old man arrived at a local medical facility in a private vehicle. Medical staff told investigators the man suffered a graze wound and was in stable condition.

No other injuries were reported.

The Sheriff’s Office has not released information about what led to the shooting or provided a description of a possible suspect.

The Criminal Investigation Division is investigating.
