Macon Man Accused of Punching Store Clerk, Pulling Knife on Customers After Being Asked to Leave

MACON, Ga. – A 35-year-old man was arrested after deputies said he damaged thousands of dollars worth of property, punched an employee and pulled a knife on customers at a store on Rocky Creek Road.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies responded to the incident Tuesday, Sept. 15.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Kadeem Kwmane Ragin was asked to leave the store before the confrontation escalated. Investigators said Ragin caused thousands of dollars in property damage and punched a store clerk.

Ragin is also accused of pulling a knife on customers during the incident.

Deputies took Ragin into custody without further incident and transported him to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.

Ragin faces charges of aggravated assault, simple battery, terroristic threats and acts, second-degree criminal damage to property and theft by shoplifting.

Bond had not been set.
