16-Year-Old Boy Found Shot to Death on Grosso Avenue in Macon

MACON, Ga. – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a 16-year-old boy was found fatally shot Friday afternoon on Grosso Avenue.

The shooting was reported to the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center shortly before 5 p.m. in the 600 block of Grosso Avenue.

Deputies responding to the scene found the teenager unresponsive with a gunshot wound, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Bibb County Deputy Coroner Luann Stone responded and pronounced the teen dead at the scene.

Authorities have not released the victim’s identity. Investigators also have not provided information about what led to the shooting or identified a possible suspect.
