Police Warn of Possible Peeping Tom in Athens Neighborhood

ATHENS, Ga. — The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is warning residents to remain vigilant as detectives investigate reports of a possible peeping tom in an east Athens neighborhood.

According to police, the incidents have been reported in the area of College Station Road and Riverbend Parkway.

Investigators said the suspect has allegedly been seen looking into occupied homes. In one incident, the individual was reportedly observed inside a resident’s home.

The department said the investigation is active and that protecting the community remains a top priority.

As detectives continue investigating, residents are encouraged to lock all doors and windows, leave exterior lights on around their homes when possible, and immediately call 911 if they observe suspicious activity.
