Consecutive Life Sentences for Trenton Man Convicted of Aggravated Child Molestation
TRENTON, GA — A 36-year-old man was sentenced to consecutive life sentences on Wednesday following a three-day trial in Dade County that detailed the extensive abuse of a 13-year-old girl. Randall Dakota Wallin was convicted of Aggravated Child Molestation, Aggravated Sexual Battery, and two counts of Child Molestation.
The sentencing, handed down by Judge Chris Arnt on April 29, 2026, ensures that Wallin will not be eligible for parole until he has served at least 60 years of his term.
Investigation at Casey Road
The case originated in July 2024, when the Dade County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Family and Children’s Services (DFCS) responded to a residence on Casey Road. Arriving authorities discovered multiple minors living in “deplorable conditions.”
All children were removed from the home after one child made a disclosure of sexual abuse. Investigators noted a telling reaction from Wallin when he was confronted with the allegations: he reportedly expressed concern only about who had called the police, rather than the welfare or safety of the children in his care.
Victim’s Bravery and Trial
The victim later provided a detailed account of extensive abuse during a forensic interview at the Children’s Advocacy Center in Fort Oglethorpe. The case was brought to trial by Senior Assistant District Attorney Kevin Baugh, who presented evidence of the abuse that took place in 2023.
Acting District Attorney Deanna Reisman commended the survivor’s courage in a statement following the sentencing:
“The courage of this young victim in coming forward cannot be overstated—without her bravery, Wallin would not have received the punishment he deserved. The imposition of consecutive life sentences ensures that Wallin will never again have the opportunity to harm a child.”
Trial Team
The prosecution was a collaborative effort involving ADA Baugh, Administrative Assistants Tamara Clayton, Crystal McNabb, and Jessica Pressnell, as well as Victim-Witness Services Director Amy Reed and Chief Investigator Christy Smith. The initial investigation was led by former Dade County Investigator Misty McConathy.
