Man Found Shot to Death Inside Duluth Hotel Room, Investigation Ongoing
DULUTH, Ga. — A man was found shot to death inside a hotel room Tuesday in what police say appears to be a domestic-related incident, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department.
Officers responded May 5 to the Courtyard by Marriott hotel on Venture Parkway after receiving a report of a person shot during a domestic dispute.
When officers arrived, they made contact with several individuals inside a room, including the victim, identified as 49-year-old Ephrim Forbes. He was evaluated by Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services personnel and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said all individuals involved remained at the scene and are cooperating with investigators.
No arrests have been made, and authorities said there are no outstanding suspects. Investigators believe the incident was isolated and does not pose a threat to the public.
