Fulton County Man Arrested After Seizure of 400 Pounds of Marijuana, Firearms, and Alprazolam
Fulton County, GA – The GBI’s Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office announced the arrest of a Sandy Springs man following a major drug trafficking investigation that led to the seizure of hundreds of pounds of marijuana and multiple weapons.
Investigators say 34-year-old Travys Davy was taken into custody after agents and officers executed two search warrants on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at locations in Atlanta and Sandy Springs. Inside the properties, law enforcement recovered more than 400 pounds of suspected marijuana, roughly six ounces of suspected alprazolam, and six firearms.
Davy, who is a convicted felon, has been charged with racketeering, marijuana trafficking, possession of a Schedule IV drug with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm by a felon. He was booked into the Fulton County Jail.
According to ARDEO, the warrants were part of a long-running investigation into a drug trafficking organization operating in the metro area. Multiple agencies contributed to the operation, including the Atlanta Police Department Narcotics Unit, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad, Sandy Springs Police, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities say additional arrests and charges are possible.
