Crisp County Traffic Stop Leads to Arrests, Narcotics Seized
CRISP COUNTY, GA – On November 30, 2025, a deputy with the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Georgia Highway 300 South after observing a vehicle traveling 73 mph in a 50-mph zone.
The driver, Alana Lassiter, was found to have active warrants from Cherokee County and Decatur, while a passenger, Amari Lassiter, had an active warrant from the Atlanta Police Department. Both were taken into custody and transported to the Crisp County Jail.
During booking, narcotics were discovered on Alana Lassiter’s person. She now faces charges including possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance, crossing state or county lines with drugs or weapons, speeding, and improper use of a child restraint.
