Paulding County Drug Task Force Seizes Meth, Psilocybin, and THC in Major Bust

Paulding County saw a significant drug bust on Thursday night, August 7th, as the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office A.C.E. Unit teamed up with the Northwest Georgia Drug Task Force to seize 14 grams of methamphetamine, 276 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 38 THC cartridges, and additional illegal items.

Six individuals were arrested and taken to the Henson Hotel jail. Authorities also confiscated a vehicle from one of the suspects.

The total value of the seized drugs and assets is estimated at $25,520.

The Northwest Georgia Drug Task Force, managed by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, serves Haralson, Polk, and Paulding Counties. The task force includes officers from multiple local agencies across the region.
