Teen Killed in House Party Shooting in Gwinnett County

Gwinnett County Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at a house party early Saturday morning, leaving a 17-year-old dead.

Officers from the Northside Precinct responded to a report of a person shot at 2715 Brown Rd in Buford at approximately 2:09 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found a male suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts, including chest compressions, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives have since identified the victim as 17-year-old Jayden Long of Loganville. The investigation into the motive behind the shooting remains ongoing.
