Johnathan Eastridge and Jessica Thomas

Johnathan Eastridge and Jessica Thomas, both of 342 Deep Woods Dr, Chatsworth, have been arrested by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Criminal Attempt to Commit Child Molestation, Sexual Exploitation of Minors, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Related Objects.

The arrests followed an investigation that began on March 12, 2025, when the Murray County Sheriff’s Office received information from a Floyd County Police Department detective. The information indicated that Eastridge and Thomas were attempting to meet a 14-year-old female for sexual purposes, based on an undercover chat operation conducted by the Floyd County Police Department.

A meeting was arranged between the suspects and the perceived child. Eastridge traveled to the location to pick up the child and was apprehended. Thomas was arrested at their residence due to her direct involvement in the crime.

A subsequent search warrant executed at 342 Deep Woods Dr yielded devices containing child sexual abuse material and items related to the sexual abuse of children, as well as methamphetamine and drug-related objects.

The Murray County Sheriff’s Office expressed gratitude to the Floyd County Police Department for their assistance in the apprehension of Eastridge and Thomas.
