Bibb County Man Arrested for Burglary and Vandalism of Multiple Businesses

Justin James Sellers, 29, was arrested on March 8, 2025, after a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputy responded to a report of vandalism at multiple businesses in the 3100 block of Vineville Avenue.

Just before 4:00 a.m., deputies were alerted to a suspect who was seen smashing windows at several businesses. Upon arrival, deputies spotted Sellers holding a long blunt object near one of the businesses and took him into custody without incident.

Further investigation revealed that Sellers had forced entry into two businesses and stolen property, which was later recovered nearby and returned to the owners. In total, eight businesses were vandalized during the incident.

Sellers was charged with two counts of Burglary and eight counts of Criminal Damage to Property. He is currently being held without bond at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
