Man Arrested on I-75 in Connection with Lowe’s Shooting in Bibb County

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man in connection with an aggravated assault investigation stemming from a shooting at a Lowe’s store earlier this year.
On March 3, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m., deputies took 27-year-old Jamarcus Dshawn Battle into custody without incident on Interstate 75 North. Battle was wanted for aggravated assault in connection with a shooting that occurred on January 5, 2025, at Lowe’s, located at 6011 Zebulon Road.
Following his arrest, Battle was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, where he was charged with two counts of aggravated assault. His bond has been denied.
Authorities previously apprehended two additional individuals on January 5, 2025, at around 3:00 p.m. in the 1900 block of Gray Highway. Deputies arrested 36-year-old Jevaughn Najee Ladson and 49-year-old Accra Jabbar Ingram in connection with the incident.
Ladson was charged with two counts of felony theft by shoplifting, misdemeanor theft by shoplifting, driving with a suspended license, driving under the influence, possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and probation violation. He was also wanted by authorities in Houston County and Snellville. His bond was set at $19,305.
Ingram was charged with felony theft by shoplifting, possession of a dangerous weapon, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His bond was set at $15,840.
Firearms were recovered from both suspects during the investigation and have been secured in the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab.
