Body Found in Savannah River; Police Seek Missing Car
On August 3, 2024, at approximately 8:45 a.m., Savannah Police responded to a call regarding a deceased person in the Savannah River near the Talmadge Bridge. The woman was later identified as Sharonne Maultsby. Savannah Police Homicide Unit is currently investigating the case, though her car remains missing.
Police are asking the public to assist in locating a 2015 silver Ford Fusion with Georgia tag CUJ8529, which has visible damage to the front passenger side. Anyone with information is urged to contact CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020 or submit a tip via the Savannah Police Department mobile app.
