Woman Stabbed in Bankhead Area of Atlanta; Suspect Arrested
On January 25, 2025, at approximately 11:46 p.m., Atlanta Police Zone 1 officers responded to a stabbing report at 1350 Mayson Turner Rd NW in the Bankhead area. Upon arrival, officers found a 48-year-old female victim with multiple lacerations. She was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
Preliminary investigations suggest the victim sustained the injuries following a verbal dispute with the suspect. Officers quickly located the suspect, 32-year-old Lukas Schuholz, and placed him under arrest. Schuholz has been charged with aggravated assault.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
