Waynesboro Man Fatally Shot in Magnolia Acres, Police Seek Information
Officers with the Waynesboro Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, January 12, 2025.
At approximately 4:20 a.m., officers responded to a call regarding a possible gunshot victim in Magnolia Acres. Upon arrival, they located Mr. Raynard Ellison inside a family member’s apartment, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Mr. Ellison was transported to Burke Health, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
