Two Arrested in Forsyth Apartment Drug Bust, Cocaine and Marijuana Seized
On Monday, December 30, 2024, at approximately 8:51 a.m., Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Investigators executed a search warrant at the Forsyth Gardens Apartments following information implicating Tramaine Haynes in narcotics distribution.
During the search, investigators seized two Crack Cocaine “cookies” weighing approximately 41.1 grams, smaller pieces of crack cocaine totaling 18 grams, 9.3 grams of powder cocaine, over 140 grams of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Tramaine Haynes and Taquilla Williams were arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including:
- Trafficking Cocaine
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
- Distribution of Controlled Substances Near Public Housing
- Possession of Drug-Related Objects
Additionally, Williams was charged with violating a Family Violence Order.
Both suspects are being held without bond at the Monroe County Jail. Authorities noted that Haynes had previously been granted bond in November for similar charges.
