Carroll County ACE Unit Seizes Over a Pound of Meth in Drug Trafficking Arrest
A collaborative investigation by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Carrollton Police Department, and University of West Georgia Police Department has led to the arrest of suspected drug trafficker Tadd Burdick, resulting in the seizure of significant quantities of illegal drugs and firearms.
Earlier this month, investigators from the ACE Unit stopped Burdick during a traffic operation, uncovering nearly an ounce of suspected methamphetamine. Further investigation led to the execution of search warrants at two properties connected to Burdick.
Authorities seized over a pound of suspected methamphetamine, along with suspected MDMA, cocaine, four firearms, cash, and various drug-related items.
Burdick has been charged with multiple offenses, including:
- Trafficking Methamphetamine
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, Cocaine, MDMA, and Marijuana
- Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
He is currently held at the Carroll County Jail.
The ACE Unit’s operation highlights the importance of inter-agency collaboration in combating drug trafficking and criminal activity in the community.
