Augusta 17-Year-Old Arrested for Murder in Hephzibah-McBean Road Shooting
On Wednesday, November 12, 2024, Richmond County deputies arrested 17-year-old Jordan Walden of Augusta, GA, charging him with Murder and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime in connection with a fatal shooting that day.
At approximately 3:11 p.m., the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a shooting on the 1400 block of Hephzibah-McBean Road, where they found an adult male victim with at least one gunshot wound. The victim later died from his injuries. The investigation remains ongoing.
